Q: What is Women's Therapy?
A: Women's Therapy is a combination of physical therapy and rehabilitation designed to meet a woman's specific needs.

Q: What type of treatment do you offer?

A: There are a variety of treatment options offered at Women's Health Rehabilitation Center including:

  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Massage Therapy
  • Biofeedback: A non-envasive tool used to measure muscle function.
  • Trigger Point Stimulation: A form of electrical stimulation as specific points along the body used for pain management.
  • Myofascial Release: A specific form of massage used for soft tisssue release.



Q: Do I need a doctor's referral to make an appointment?
A: Most primary physicians, after seeing you, will write you a referral for physical therapy when it is necessary. In some cases, if a referral is lost or expired the WHRC Staff will gladly call your primary physician to obtain the proper referral for your physical therapy treatment.

Q: Can I bring my children with me to therapy?
A: Yes! WHRC Therapies has a children's play room equiped with toys. art supplies and a television with VHS and DVD players. We will gladly keep an eye on the room but are unable to "babysit" children. Children should be comfortable enough to be left alone in the room until your therapy session is completed.

Q: What types of insurance do you accept?
A: We are a PPO provider and accept most major medical insurances including Medicare. For further information, please call us at 708-633-8000.
